Once upon a time there was a daughter who begged her father for a pony for Christmas. “Please, please daddy I want a pony!” she begged, over and over.
Finally Christmas Day arrived. The father took his daughter by the hand and with his heart bursting with anticipation he presented her a purebred Welsh pony with a hand-made leather & silver saddle and bridle engraved with his daughter’s initials.
But the daughter threw herself on the ground and sobbed with disappointment: “What is THIS? I wanted a cheap plastic pony toy and this is what you give me? Obviously you don’t love me!”
