A good friend of mine (Maarten) is an astrophysicist and scientific film-maker. The European Space Agency (ESA) is building a probe called JUICE (JUpiter ICey moons Explorer) to explore three of Jupiter’s moons. They’ll be launching it next year. ESA hired Maarten to video the story, so he’s been producing a series of short videos documenting various milestones. After the probe is launched, he’ll assemble them all into an hour long documentary. I’m doing the film score.
We just released episode 9, which focuses on Galileo (1564-1642), who first discovered Jupiter’s moons in 1610. (Some folks can barely make out with the naked eye that there’s something going on around Jupiter — Galileo’s new-fangled telescope made it crystal clear.) You can find our new video on YouTube here.
And you can find all the episodes on YouTube here..

Many thanks to William for creating the perfect score in support of telling the story of this adventure, an endeavour where humans pull out their best, most creative en ingenious sides to make it come true.
